"When I first agreed to go with this company for renters insurance I thought I was making a really good choice up until I was being charged $50 and the actual insurance was only $12 they took $50 from my acct for a returned payment and idk what else they try justifying over charging me but from $12 to $50 that’s just in heard of!! I’m really disappointed in this happening and think it’s totally unfair! I set up auto pay to make sure I pay on time but never thought they cld jus take watevr they want bc of a missed payment! And I know this only happened w certain girls working bc the woman working here have awful attitudes they are rude and snobby an dnt show much respect for their clients! Togo was kind his female workers no so kind! One girl wanted to over charge me this same amt so I was gna drop my insurance w them than called bck and a very kind woman took my $12 payment w no issues and let it be known tht they can work w me n dnt have to over charge me the way the other girl was tying to do and did this month!! Im on a budget so them taking so much more than they were allowed to really messed me up! I nvr gave permission to take out $50 and dnt think that was fair at all im now looking for a diff company bc of this mistake n the disrespectful ladies working here!"

"The local State Farm office personnel are very helpful, but I can't say the same for the corporate response if you finally need to make a home insurance claim. I live in an HOA neighborhood of small homes that have the same codes for roofing, and are the same age. We have had several wind and hail storms in the 10 years I have been in my home, but I had never made a claim for this home or previous homes covered by State Farm, until this month. Although several of my neighbors had insurance companies that covered the hail damage to their roofs, I was warned that State Farm was the worst company to have in making a claim. Unfortunately, I found that to be true. An Independent Roof Inspector disagreed with the adjustor hired by State Farm, but of course, that made no difference. If you have choice make a different one than State Farm."
